The Dark Knight job is a late game class obtained from asterisk holder Alternis Dim. This job is all about making hard hits, at the cost of HP. It makes for a usable end game class; ok for attacking and great at dealing with defensive enemies.

STRATEGY

This class thrives with Spell Fencer as a secondary command. Drain sword, when combined with the power from two handing a sword or katana, helps to heal much of the health lost while using your Dark attacks.

Bravely Default Series

Salve Maker may also make for a useful secondary command set due to its weakness forcing and HP increasing abilities.

Bravely Default Gameplay

Using it as a secondary command proves less than fruitful for most classes. One combo that may make it work is Monk. One can use Phoenix Flight to reduce HP to 1, then Minus Strike for insane damage.

Bravely Default Walkthrough

The Dark Knight is one of my favorite jobs because of the design, and because of Minus Strike. The appearance of the job, clad in sleek black armor with a few pieces jutting out, is one of the beat designs I've seen. Minus Strike can always be dealing max damage, and is a part of the first strategy I formed on my own.
